Center For Hair Transplantation

The Procedure

All hair transplantation procedures are performed in our modern, state-of-the-art facility by Dr. Cohen, Dr. Kim, and Dr. Brooks.

Hair Transplantation was developed in the 1950s, and since that time, more than fifteen million people have been successfully treated.

Hair transplantation is the treatment of choice for male pattern baldness (androgenetic alopecia), a hereditary condition that is the most common type of baldness which can occur in both men and women.  It is also effective for restoring hair lost as a result of trauma, burns or certain medical conditions of the scalp that lead to scarring. This procedure can also be used to repair lost hair in eyebrows and mustaches.

The process of hair transplantation can begin as soon as thinning becomes noticeable so that you never look bald, or it can wait until a more definite pattern of baldness becomes established. It can even be performed on people who have been bald for many years.
